All locks at Story's Shetlands are washed in an eco friendly matter, keeping the integrity of the locks intact. They are from non coated Shetlands but are hand picked from prime areas of the fleece with minimal vegetable matter. If choosing longer locks, simply flick each end and begin spinning singles from the locks. Shorter staples can be combed or flicked and drum carded for lovely roving prep.
