Lego

Lego's locks range from approximately 5 to 6.5+ inches long.  Her fleece is very dense and is a predominantly white base with areas of a varying degree of gray and black hairs mixed in.  Lego fleece is an array of locks all on the same fleece (Please view photo reference) and is on the softer side of the traditional Shetland breed.

Lily  ***SOLD***

 Lily likes to take the prize for having the longest locks with this year's ranging from approximately 5 - 8+ inches long.   As you can see, there are lovely areas of crimp and wavy sections with corkscrew tops.   Lily's locks are predominately white with black transitional hairs.  If you comb her locks, the black hairs will comb out leaving the roving a beautiful white color.  If you give her locks a center twist and flick the ends, the resulting yarn has rustic flecks of black popping in and out of the singles.  Lily takes after her mother Lego by being on the softer side of the traditional Shetland breed.

Sam is one of our wethers.  He was born with a brown fleece that has turned white over time but still retaining transitional grayish brown hairs in varying degrees.  Sam's hair has a lovely range of crimp within locks. Depending on the areas they are taken from, Sam's locks can be straight, crimpy and cork screwed.  His length of locks ranges from approximately 5 - 5.5 inches in length and are on the softer side of traditional Shetland.

Sadi

Sadi runs closely to her twin brother Sam.  Her locks range from approximately 5 - 6 inches in length. Sadi's locks have a white base with transitional brown hairs and some small areas of black fibers.  Her darker areas have a slight wave, and the lighter areas have a beautiful crimp with areas of corkscrew tops.  Sadi is on the softer side of traditional Shetland.

Cricket 

Cricket is a wether who is a bestie of Sam.  Cricket has lovely gray to black locks with light tips.  We had yarn made from his previous year's fleece.  It will be listed on the yarn page.  Depending on the area they are pulled from, Cricket's locks range from approximately 4 - 7 inches in length.  Blended together, Cricket's fleece makes the most gorgeous rustic yarn.  The resulting yarn is on the softer side of traditional Shetland.

Lil' Brick

Lil' Brick is perfect for those spinners who are lovers of a mousey fawn color.  His locks are in the 5-inch range and the softer side of traditional Shetland.  With the washed-out tips, Lil' Bricks roving is so beautifully rustic and is a great accent to any knitwear.

CALLIE    SOLD

Callie is the twin sister of Trixie. Like her sister, Callie can always be relied on to have a consistently lovely small fleece. She has a few areas of higher amounts of black and dark brown fibers in her fleece. She is a brighter white with just a touch of colored hair. Callie’s fleece is on the softer side of Shetland.

May is the daughter of Marlena. She was one of our triplets and this is her second fleece. It is a fine Shetland fleece like her father Spiez. Very soft locks with length of 4 to 5 inches.

Ruby is the daughter of Ritza and Spiez. She is a fine fleeced Shetland. Her fleece is very soft. Her locks range from 2.5 to 4.5 in length and are a beautiful bright white.
